Living Light Glass Studio has a fully stocked Teaching Studio dedicated to  teaching the art of Stained Glass. All our courses are structured so that you will learn  techniques in the most effective way. All our courses are run in a friendly and  relaxed environment with small groups so that there is no queuing to to use tools  or get advice. We hold courses most weeks and each course will last  approximately 3 to 4 weeks and at the last session you will be able to take your  completed project home for all to admire. We also have various Advanced Courses  for those who have completed their course along with Drop In sessions on Friday  afternoons for you to work on your own projects.

We only teach in small numbers so book as soon as possible to ensure your place on your chosen course.

All tools  are supplied but it is advisable for you to purchase your own glass cutter from us, either on the day or before. We will be able to advise you on the  correct choice of cutters, after all this is the most important tool you will  need.

Courses Available.

Agate Panel (copper foil). Ideal as a starter course covering the  Tiffany technique of stained glass. This course is aimed at beginners although  students from College Evening Courses will also benefit from the extra tuition. Course will last 3 weeks.

Lead Came Window Panel. This course will teach you the basics of  leading to create your very own window panel. Course will last approx. 4 weeks.

Friday Stained Glass Club. Once you have successfully completed  one of our courses you are a member of our Stained Glass Club which will  enable you to join us on a Friday afternoon to tackle your own projects and take as long as you wish. You will also have full use of our tools and have  your own bench and storage space. Along with full tutor support if you require  that little extra assistance, were there to fall back on if you need us. You will also be entitled to various discounts and special offers only available  to those who have been on one of our courses. Please note you will be required to purchase at least the basic tools to use for your projects. ie. Glass Cutter, Cutting Square and Breaking Pliers etc. for use at the Stained Glass Club

Glass Fusing & Slumping Course. This course is ideal for beginners as you will learn the techniques of fusing & slumping glass & using the kiln. You will make various fused objects to take away. From coasters, pendants and some metal work as well. All materials are included except if you wish to use some Dichroic Glass in your projects. This course books up quickly so book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Glass Bead Making.
We teach using the same equipment that you will be using at home so you can learn the required techniques and then go home with the confidence to create your own wonderful Glass Beads.
We run various beginners one day and two day courses normally run over the weekend. Our courses are run in a friendly manner and are only run for up to 4 people at a time. This way you get maximum tuition and hands on time at the burners.
